Traffic Control Person (TCP)
If you’ve got a Project which requires road closures or disruptions in traffic, then it’s essential to have Traffic Control Personnel. At Payless Traffic Ltd. all of our TCP’s are fully CCBSA Certified and have the knowledge and experience to help mitigate and control the flow of traffic during road closures.
All our TCP’s keep up to date with Safety Standards, Traffic Control Devices, and effective Communication methods. This helps us play a crucial role in maintaining order and safety in areas where normal traffic is disrupted.
All of our TCP’s focus on the following key duties:
- Maintaining Safety – Protecting Motorists, Pedestrians, & Workers by effectively managing the flow of traffic
- Placement Of Traffic Control Equipment – Placing Cones, Signs, Barriers, and other Traffic Control equipment to create a safe environment for all road users
- Directing Traffic – Using Hand Signals, Signs, & other Traffic Control Devices to safely guide vehicles through changes in traffic patterns
- Communication – Using Radios, Hand-Signals, & other Communication Devices to co-ordinate with other Traffic Control Personnel, Construction Workers, & Law Enforcement
- Traffic Condition Monitoring – Monitoring traffic patterns and making the necessary adjustments to prevent congestion and maintain safety
